Infant and Toddler Programs
These days, our children are expected to
learn more at a younger age. Childrens' minds are like sponges
waiting to absorb any and all information we give them. Why not start
giving them a foundation for learning from the very beginning? The
natural window for learning language opens a birth and begins to close
at age four. During that time period, it is natural for children to
learn all areas of language.
Our Infant and Toddler programs have some
of the same academic and cultural activities as our Preschool. They
include Art, Music / Movement, Language and Math.
In February 2010, we introduced a program
called Your Baby Can Read. This program includes special flash cards,
books and videos that we use in our Infant and Toddler areas two times
per day, which helps children begin to recognize words.
Because of this program our children are
recognizing and speaking much earlier. They love working with the
specialized materials each day.

Why teach your baby or toddler
to read? |
| |
1.
Reading is the most important skill your child will ever learn.
2.
Your child's brain develops faster in infancy than it does later in
life.
3.
Each child has only one natural window of opportunity for learning
language.
4.
The long term effects of early literacy are very positive.
